Our history
Casafort was born from a family story, a love for this land, and the desire to bring new life to the old houses of the small village of Casafort, near Nulles, in the heart of the Alt Camp region.
It all began when the grandparents, Carme and Domènech, discovered this little corner surrounded by vineyards and countryside. They fell in love with the tranquillity of the place and decided to make it their home.
Carme had always had a great passion for restoring old houses. With patience, sensitivity, and great dedication, she began restoring the village’s old homes, preserving their essence and original architecture. This is how Cal Magí del Pi, Ca l’Eixerit, and Cal Masovers came to life.
What started as a hobby gradually became a passion, eventually giving rise to a rural tourism project where visitors can enjoy the peace and beauty of such a special setting.
Domènech dedicated part of his life to working the land. He cultivated the soil and transformed the surrounding area into vineyards that are now part of the landscape around Casafort. Our vines are used to produce a variety of wines, but above all, cava. He also planted almond and olive trees and began producing olive oil, a tradition we continue to this day, using organic methods.
Every stone, every vine, and every corner of Casafort is part of our story. And we are delighted to share it with everyone who comes to visit us.
